Saliva Screening

This screening test uses saliva (spit) to provide insight into the health of your mouth and of your body. This test is for you if you want to know if your mouth is putting your body at risk for certain diseases. The analysis includes 16 organisms, including 11 bacteria (some healthy and some unhealthy in the mouth),1 yeast/candida, and 4 viruses. The presence of and relationship between these organisms is called the mouth biome or the oral biome. The insights from this test gives you an understanding of your oral health and of the risk of diseases in your body.
